Leave with the loot, or risk it all.

Steal from the temple. Leave before it takes you.

Three cards on offer, each a gift and a bill. Two are melted into a Supernova, and a crowd walks into its ring.
Deals

Every gift has a bill

Every 25 seconds the temple offers you cards.

Each one is something good with a price attached.

You keep both until the run ends.

The deal

  1. Kill

    Kill what's carrying gold.

  2. Stack

    Stack a pile worth losing.

  3. Decide

    Bank it. Or be greedy.

Every coin you carry is at risk. Every coin you bank is safe. The temple knows the difference.

A thief stands in a gold ring while a crowd closes in. A hit spills part of the pile, then the cash out fires and the pile is counted into the wallet.
Cash Out

Stand in the ring

A gold ring opens now and then.

Stand in it until it fills and the pile is yours.

Die first and it's gone.

Banked coins pour across the thief's den into a growing heap of gold, and a milestone plaque rings in.
The Hoard

Bank it. Watch it grow.

Whatever you bank pours into your den.

The heap keeps growing, and milestones open new halls.

The only coins that are really yours.

What's in the demo

  • A thief's den you walk around between runs, a hoard that grows with what you bank, and the Fence's Black Market.
  • Runs through the temple's halls, each with its own look, light and creatures.
  • Deals: every 25 seconds, something good with a price. The Fence sells you more between runs.
  • Alloys: melt two Deals into one that does something neither could alone.
  • Six songs that get more frantic the greedier you get.
  • The demo ends at $250,000 Net Worth, which is an hour or two of stealing. The full game comes later.

It's an early demo. Numbers, sounds and screens will change.

Hi, I'm Csaba

I'm a small indie developer, and I love games. I always wanted to make one all by myself, so I did. GREED is that game.

The demo is free and still rough in places. If you play it, tell me what you think on the Discord. I read everything.
